We are proud to introduce Dr. Noureldin Shoreibah, our Huntington Beach Endodontist.
During a recent conversation, we posed a few frequently asked questions to him. Here’s what he had to say:
- What differentiates you from other endodontists?
The main difference is the passion for saving teeth, working with every single patient as a family member, and I always put myself in the patient’s position to decide on the best result for the individual. - What differentiates your services from dentists’ services?
Many general dentists do a great job in terms of root canal procedures. Yet some cases are so challenging that they require more training, equipment, and experience to manage. The role of the endodontist is critical in handling those cases. - When did you get your passion for being an endodontist?
Dentistry, in general, is art, with lots of hand skills and knowledge. When I attended the clinical part of my dental school education, I found it most rewarding to get patients out of pain or infection and still be able to save their teeth. - What are some of the new trends in the endodontics industry?
Endodontics, in the last 20 years, underwent vast improvements in terms of material used to shape canals. Cone beam CT, irrigation and cleaning devices also helped practitioners to save more teeth. - Who was your biggest educator/mentor during your career studies?
Dr. John Munce, Board Certified Endodontist and part-time faculty at Loma Linda University. I was able to learn from him how to save teeth that other dentists would deem unsavable – great mentor and I hope to follow in his footsteps - What was the hardest moment, and the best moment you had in your endodontics career?
The most challenging time is anytime I hear that a patient just wants to extract his tooth for financial reasons. The best time happened twice: when I became a Diplomat for the American Board of Endodontics, and when I opened The Endo House. - From your experience, give us the #1 tip for keeping your teeth healthy.
The primary key to saving teeth is oral hygiene and regular visits to a general dentist. Nothing beats that.
Testimonial from Christine, A patient of The Endo House, Huntington Beach.
My upper back tooth was hurting me and I dreaded the root canal procedure that followed. I was lucky to have it done by Dr. Nour who was great at it. He was gentle and efficient and listened to my concerns. He used advanced technological tools to make the procedure precise and seamless. Definitely was my best dental experience ever.
